Welcome to the 2016-2017 school year at Sheltering Arms.  We are excited to be your child’s teachers and look forward to an enriching and rewarding school year.  Our objectives this year are to help better prepare your child for kindergarten emotionally, socially, and academically in a positive and nurturing environment.

Pre-K starts promptly at 8:00am, 8:01am is considered late.  You may drop your child off as early as 7:30 am. Breakfast is served from 8:00-8:20.

Please remember to sign your child in and out daily at the computer in the lobby and in the classroom on the cubbies.  Please sign your name next to your child’s name.

Your child will have their own cubby.  Please make sure that all your child’s belongings fit into their cubby.  Also, please be sure to provide a labeled, extra set of clothes to keep in case of an accident or spill.  Also please check the cubby every day.

Please remember, Sheltering Arms policy is no book bags, blankets, outside food or toys.
We are looking forward to working with your child and are excited to be a part of their growth and development.  Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have throughout the school year.  The best times to talk are during drop off (before 8:00am), or by phone at (404) 209-1897 between 12:30 and 1:30pm and after 3:00pm.  You may also contact us by email at waclassroom8@yahoo.com or through the classroom's blog http://WAroom8.blogspot.com.

Let’s work together to make this year full of fun, learning, and personal growth for your child!
